The Bay St Louis Little Theatre is pleased to announce more bi-monthly Bay Children’s Theatre Academy classes coming starting March 28th! Classes will be held on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. The dates for the new session are as follows:
March 28
April 11
April 25
May 9
May 23
June 13
June 27
Class will be held from 9:15 – 11:00am, and the cost is $57 per child. The class is for reading children ages 13 and under.
We will have lots of learning and fun:
- Cooperating in teams to solve problems
- Using imaginations to place oneself in other contexts
- Development of aesthetic sensitivity through discussion of theater performances, scenery, and costumes
- Recognition and analysis of important dramatic concepts such as character, and real vs. theater
- Development of theater skills through analysis of personal preferences and resources
- Dramatization of literary selections
- Dramatization of real events and concepts
- Participation in theatrical production for a live audience (June 27)
- And much more!
