The Bay St. Louis Little Theatre will open its latest production “On Borrowed Time” written by Paul Osborn based on the novel by Lawrence Edward Watkin on November 7th. It is a charming and deeply moving play which explores the human condition with rare intelligence.
“Emotionally satisfying.”
The Little Theatre will tell a story of everyday people in a little town in America. The story revolves around a grandfather and his 8- year-old grandson. It is an absurd, charming, and stupendous story. A story that shows that faith still performs miracles and good deed does find its own reward. The novel was a best seller when it was first released. The book was developed into a Broadway hit show within a year of its debut. “The premise of the play makes you think and the end of the show leaves you uplifted. A delightful experience,” stated Clayton Pennylegion, director of the show.
The show is directed by Clayton Pennylegion and produced by Cheryl Grace. The cast includes Jay Kelton, Michael Lebeau, Liam Morgan, Terry Cullen, Judy Boudoin, Jim Lindsay, Tammie Wise, Meredith Blasingame, Robert Smith, Bill Myers, Irv Hansen, Melissa Kelton, and Jason Lebeau. Set design is by Laurie Spaschak and Carol Lindsay. Set construction is by Dean Noel.
