Our Little Theatre is going to have a very special guest on Saturday, November 19th. One of our founding members and esteemed actresses, Emily deMontluzin, and her daughter Lorraine deMontluzin will grace our Theatre stage. They will read passages from their new book “Dearest Arlette.” The book lets us experience everyday life in Postwar America and France from the years 1945 to 1955 through letters written by two reunited families.
The correspondence of Emily and Arlette [her French cousin] showcases the experience of two ordinary families, one American and one French, as their countries were adjusting to the political and international challenges, economic stresses, and social changes of a postwar world.
