Audtions for First Show "Lilies of the Field"

The first Show of the Season in the new theater will be "Lilies of the Field". Auditions will be held, Thursday, August 26 from 6 to 8 PM and on Sunday, August 29 from 2 to 4 PM. Rehearsals will begin September 1 at the new theater. Performance dates are November 5,6,7,11, 12, and 13. There are roles for 4 men and 5 women. Larry Clark will direct the play. BSLLT Plans Grand Opening

The Bay St. Louis Little Theatre is planning their Grand Opening Celebration scheduled for Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2. The original theater on Boardman Avenue was totally destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. After five years, the Little Theatre will finally have a permanent home.

Your journey begins with the registration and audition workshop on Friday, May 28 at the Diamondhead Community Center from 9am-11am. Rehearsals will follow Monday through Friday May 31-July 1 from 9 am until 1 pm. The performances will take place at the Diamondhead Country Club on Thursday, July 1, and Friday, July 2, at 7 pm. Participants ages 6- 17 are welcome.

Looking for Volunteers at the Little Theatre

The BSL Little Theatre has started planning for our 2010/2011 season! Our first season in our permanent home is fast approaching and we're just giddy with excitement. What this means is that we're going to need some help getting back into the swing of things - things like a real, full season of shows! And we're asking all of you to help us.

We have a number of ways to help out the Little Theatre. If you're interested in volunteering for any of these positions, please call 228-864-2882 or email info@bsllt.org.

Breaking Ground on the John F. Holmes Playhouse

We are so excited to finally be able to announce this! This Friday, November 6th, the Bay St. Louis Little Theatre will be breaking ground on their new John F. Holmes Playhouse. It's been a long, hard, and did I mention long, road to get to this point, and we'd like as many of our wonderful supporters to be there as possible.

The event will be bittersweet, as the Little Theatre lost Mr. Holmes earlier this year. But his wife Alice Holmes, will be in attendance, and we're very grateful for that.
